Scottish Country Dancing is full of opportunities for fun, friendship and exercise.
At 'Welcome Night' aspiring dancers can try it out - and at no cost. Our expert instructor Louise Murphy will teach you some of the basics steps and introduce a few simple dances. Some of our experienced dancers will be there to help you get started.
Everyone 18 years of age or older is welcome to attend. You do not need to bring a partner (or a kilt) but please wear comfortable shoes.
We look forward to seeing you there.
DANCING IN THE PARK June 17 to August 19
This takes place every Monday, weather permitting, 7 - 9 pm, in Stanley Park at the Ceperley Playground, near Second Beach. (There will be no dancing on July 1 and August 5.) Two nights in particular should be noted. The Dundarave Dancers (from West Vancouver Seniors’ classes) and Fort Langley dancers will host the dancing on August 12 with Louise as MC. Gleneagles night will be the final night, August 19, with Simon as MC. The dance programmes are published on the Branch website. Come and enjoy these summer evenings and in particular support our teachers on August 12 and 19.
